Organizations Overview

Children's Castle Choir
Choir formed in April 1985 prior to the opening of the National Children's Center "Children's Castle" in November 1985.
Even after the closure of Children's Castle in 2015, approximately 250 people of all ages, genders, nationalities, and disabilities ranging from 3 to 79 years old continue to actively engage in inclusive activities through music.
In Heisei 13 and 27, in recognition of such activities, we received the "Child Welfare Culture Award" as a children's cultural property. She also sang the national anthem at the closing ceremony of the 2021 Paralympic Games.
The choir, which brings together "different people" that transcends various frameworks, is developing its business while accumulating various experiences such as exchange activities with children nationwide through music, visits to hospitals and nursing homes, and workshop activities at many facilities.
