Mizuka Ueno presents a special selection of
masterpieces presented with her friends of the Tokyo Ballet!

Principal Mizuka Ueno possesses exceptional qualities as a dancer and has always been active on the front lines. In commemoration of her Reiwa 3rd (72nd) Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award for Fine Arts, we will hold "Mizuka Ueno on Stage" featuring her representative works. Ueno first began dancing immediately after joining the Tokyo Ballet, and he said that he was finally able to see his own expression, which was choreographed by B?jart, which was the reason why he was awarded the Art Award. This blessed physical condition was demonstrated without any way, and "Swan Lake" became synonymous with Ueno from an early stage. And the work of the master Laurent Petit, who has appreciated her since her very young age. This time, Ueno himself will add the Nureyev choreography "Cinderella", which he longed to dance, and will perform with guest artist Marcelo Gomez and his recent partner Emoto. On the other hand, the Tokyo Ballet will liven up the stage with Marius Petipa's "Paquita," which was improved in 18 performances on this year's "HOPE JAPAN" tour, and "A Little Death" by Jiri Kilian, another of its proud repertoire. To express our gratitude to everyone who has watched and supported Mizuka Ueno's dance life, please look forward to the special performance she will give with her friends of the Tokyo Ballet!
