Performance content

Welcome to the strange world!

Alice in Wonderland was born in 1865 based on a story that Lewis Carroll improvised for his acquaintance's daughter Alice Ridule and her sister. Since then, Lewis Carroll's fantastic world and John Tenniel's illustrations have inspired people's imaginations and continue to influence artists not only in the world of children's literature but also in all fields such as art, film, theater, and fashion.
In 2021, the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) in the UK hosted the first large-scale exhibition tracing the cultural phenomenon of "Alice". In this exhibition, which will travel around the world from V&A, in addition to new original works from Japan exhibition, the history of "Alice" from its origins to the present day will be introduced through approximately 300 works and video direction. Please enjoy the charm of "Alice in Wonderland", which has not faded even after about 160 years, and the new world of creation at the venue.
