Performance content

Hokusai's last large-format Nishiki-e series, "Hyakunin Ichish? Nanny Katsuki (Hyakunin Ichish? Sh?ba ga Etoki)" was produced for the purpose of explaining the contents of "Hyakunin Ichish?" as a picture, but due to the difficulty of the painting, only 27 figures were published. In this exhibition, focusing on the "Hyakunin Ichish? Nanny Katsuki" series, while also introducing the situation of "Hyakunin Ichish?" in the Edo period, we will exhibit a wide range of works related to "Hyakunin Ichish?" painted by Hokusai and his disciples.
