◇The 90th Anniversary Concert
In January 1976, our group made a shocking debut with a small concert featuring Bach's works, but the second (1977.1) re-started as a small orchestra Since then, as a result of continuing to perform twice a year as a quota, this concert will count 90 times. For more than 45 years of hardship, there have been many times of crisis of collapse, but each time we have overcome it and reached this point. Thank you, we were able to hold a concert safely without canceling even in the severe situation in recent years.

With the brave decline of seiichiro Yamamoto, the predecessor conductor who has led our group since its founding, noriyuki Hirakawa has been invited as the conductor from the 79th (2016.9) and the organization has been renewed as "new Dimanche" and continues to work until now. In addition, Tetsuo Tozawa, concertmaster of the Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra, has been teaching the practice as a trainer since around 2018 in order to improve the skills of our group.

This time, we will invite the aforementioned Tetsuo Tozawa as a soloist to perform Beethoven's Violin Concerto to commemorate the 90th concert. This will be the second time this song has been performed with him since the 65th concert (2009.9), but with the acquisition of a new leader, I expect it to be a different performance because it seems that the members are improving their skills over the years. In the 81st (2017.9), Mr. Hirakawa conducted Brahms's Violin Concerto, and it was the first time in four and a half years that the concert was performed in the same combination.

◇All Beethoven Program
2020 marks the 250th anniversary of Beethoven's birth (1770-1826). In commemoration of this, we have been performing Beethoven's symphonies in order of numbers, starting with the Symphony No. 1 of the 83rd Concert (2018.9). In the previous 89th (2021.9), we took up The 6th "Rural" section. This time, it is the appearance of the seventh symphony that follows it.

When a certain broadcasting station surveyed the popularity of Beethoven's work a few years ago, the first place was "ninth" as shimoma commentary, but the second place was the result of "No. 7", suppressing the high-profile symphonies of "fate", "countryside", and "hero". This was surprising, but is this due to the fact that a TV drama on the theme of an orchestra of a college student was aired 10 years ago and adopted as the theme song?

This time, before this Symphony No. 7, we decided to use the overture "Coriolan" and "All Beethoven Program" with violin concertos. Beethoven is the most featured composer in the history of our concerts, but surprisingly this is the first program dedicated to Beethoven. Our group often incorporated lesser-known works into the program, but this time we will challenge a program that can be said to be a "royal road" that collects only high-profile works.

overture "Coriolan" Op. 62
Violin Concerto in D major Op.61
