Performance content

Life overflows in the land of the gods.
"The Ultimate Time" &#8212— Shen Yun SHIN-IN".

In 2021, Kenzo Sato will begin the "Togoshi Korekokan Project", which will disseminate collaborations with beloved and leading artists.

Kenzo Sato plays taiko drumming during the closing ceremony of the 1998 Football World Cup. In 2016, he was a japanese drummer who performed in Japan and overseas, such as solo performances broadcast all over the world as one of the "seven pairs of musicians active in the world" in a special program of the BRITISH national broadcaster BBC. He is known as the "man of choice for Wadaiko" for his overwhelming and explosive hitting method of beating fuji, one of the world's largest privately owned taiko drums, and his highly artistic and spiritual performances.

Keisuke Zenyoji, a shakuhachi player, co-stars in the project's first performance. In 2018, Zenyoji received the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award, the highest award from the Agency for Cultural Affairs. A shakuhachi player who has won numerous awards, including the Japan Agency for Cultural Affairs Art Festival Grand Prize, and received the Medal with Purple Ribbon in the fall of 2020. The sound of the pyloric wind going through the narrow path of the heart, played by the master's bamboo, brings us out of this world.

Windy May. With the slow thaw, the mountains are increasing inblueand the flowers are lovely. Please come to To hide, a sacred place where young leaves shine and the heart of water is clear and clear. There is a soul-trembling sound created by two solitary players.

About "Toshihi Korekokan Project"
Kenzo Sato's daily japanese drumming training hall "Korekokan" in Toshihiro, Shinsu. In 2021, this mysterious space surrounded by forests will begin to move as a small theater that transmits "performing arts in a new era". A wooden theater that lives with nature, with clear air and birds' voices flowing refreshingly. You can feel the sound of Wadaiko, including fuji, a large drum with a maximum diameter of 170 centimeters, throughout your body. At this Korekokan, we will hold wadaiko live performances, collaborations with leading artists, various workshops, and other projects that will delight your mind and body as one. At the trial performance held in November 2020, Kenzo Sato's Wadaiko Solo Live "Tenshin TENSHIN", we showed the sound of sharpened Japanese drums
and were well received by visitors.

■Performances and Parking Lots
Many customers are concerned about the performances being held recently in Tokyo and other four prefectures.
As the organizer, this performance will be held as scheduled in accordance with the standard of holding events in Nagano Prefecture, taking into account that "it is not an event where spectators shout loudly, but an environment where it is difficult to become dense with a capacity of up to 50 people in a large space".
Of course, we are thoroughly preventing infectious diseases such as disinfection, ventilation, and wearing masks, and are preparing to welcome you in a safe environment. In addition, if the response changes significantly due to changes in government policy in the future, we will keep you updated on this page.

At the time of booking, I was guided that "The parking lot is scheduled to have a temporary parking lot for the Togashi Shrine ceremony annual festival in the neighborhood, so please use it", but it seems that a large temporary parking lot will not be opened on the weekend of May 15 and 16. In addition, the organizer has prepared a parking space for customers who plan to visit by car. If you wish, please make a reservation to the person in charge below. In addition, the parking lot fee on the day will be charged 500 yen per car. Please pay at the reception desk of Korekokan.
The number is limited, so please contact us as soon as possible.
