Disney Fantasia Concert 2021 [Kanagawa Performance]
<<80th Anniversary! A concert will be held to experience Disney's historical masterpiece "Fantasia" with powerful live music and beautiful images!
Disney's unprecedented film "Fantasia", an animated representation of classic classics.
The brilliant melodies of classical music, the brilliant colors, the dynamic, sometimes delicate and elegant motion, captivated people not only in the history of animation but also in the history of cinema. 80 years after the film's release in 1940, we will deliver a timeless masterpiece that has not faded, along with orchestral performances.
There are many concerts where you can enjoy the music with live orchestral music while watching the scenes of the movie projected on the screen, but "Dizny Fantasia Concert" is something different. In the first place, "Fantasia" itself is a special work that shines a different color in Disney movies.
"Fantasia" is known as a fusion of classical music and animation, but that doesn't just mean that sound and painting match beautifully. It is made with the idea that it is not to put music on the image, but to listen to the music and turn the image into a video, which is the opposite of a general movie. Disney artists are free to interpret the music of masters such as Bach and Beethoven, not bound by existing concepts, and create amazing images.
8 songs were animated in the original 1940 version of Fantasia and 7 new songs in the 2000 sequel Fantasia 2000, but "Disney Fantasia Concert" will feature carefully selected performances in its own program. Donald Duck struggles on Elgar's "Pomf and Style", mushrooms dance on Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker Suite", and Mickey Mouse causes a stir in Ducasse's "The Wizard's Apprentice".
A concert where you can taste music with your eyes, ears and heart instead of following the story while listening to the performance. It will surely be an unforgettable experience.
