>b>Mysterious Night's Dream Story. Shakespeare's masterpiece comedy in opera! br />>
2020/2021 Season Opening Performance "Summer Night Dream" is based on David McViker's original production, and will be performed in a new production version " performance in the New Normal era in consideration of social distance and splash infection prevention.
"Dreams of a Summer Night" is the artistic director Kazushi Ono's choice of "the most gorgeous and heart-to-heart work of 20th century opera." Based on Shakespeare's masterpiece comedy about the uproar that takes place on the whim of a fairy, this opera consists of about half the text of the original. The three worlds of fairies, lovers, and craftsmen are vividly developed by Britain's unique technique, which is skilled in the progress of the drama by motivation and japanese voice. The friendly and varied music captivates the audience, and the boy soprano's ensemble of fairies and the counter tenor fairy king Oberon are particularly impressive, bringing the audience into a fantastic world at once. The production, directed by
McViker, was premiere in 2004 at the Monet Theatre, where world-renowned designer Ray Smith worked on art and costumes, depicting the reciprocity of men and women in mysterious darkness in a huge attic with a contemporary touch.

Oberon is Daichi Fujiki, who flew from the New National Theatre Opera Training Institute and made his debut at the Vienna State Opera as a counter tenor. One of the best singers in Japan, the world of "Dream of a Summer Night" woven by fairies and people unfolds.

Martin Bravins, who was scheduled to lead
, was offered a drop-off, so Norikazu Iimori will take the lead on his behalf.
br />>Tale br /> [Act 1] Fairy King Oberon and Titania are married over their small names. Oberon orders Puck to pick up medicinal herb in an effort to outsol Titania with the power of a drug. It is a medicinal herb that if the juice is applied to the bag, it wakes up and falls in love with the first person who sees it. Lyson and Hermia, young people from Athens, appear on the stage. Hermia was ordered to marry Dmitrias and is about to run off. Seeing Dmitrias being chased around by Helena, Oberon came up with the idea of putting his lovers together and ordered The Pack to use herb to make Dmitrias fall in love with Helena. Artisans in Athens are preparing for a play performed in front of Lord Sithias. The puck accidentally hung the medicine in Lyson's eyes, and when he woke up, Lyson fell in love with Helena as he passed by. Oberon, on the other hand, drips medicine on titania's eyelids.

[Act 2] Craftsmen are practicing the play. When the bottom leaves the practice circle, the pack changes the head of the bottom to the head of the donba. The craftsmen are surprised by the monster and run around. Tytania wakes up by the side and becomes engrossed in the bottom of the don't-head. Hermia, who was abandoned by Lyson, her love enemy Lyson and Dmitrias, Helena, who is suddenly pleasing and angry with the two, and the four young people get into a fight, and Puck puts them to sleep in an order to settle the situation.

[Act 3] The young people who wake up in the morning settle down with two couples, Lyser, Hermia, Dmitrias and Helena, and ask the Duke of Shecias to forgive them of their marriage. The bottom also returns to its original appearance, and the artisans perform the play "Pilamas and Sisby" at the wedding of Sheath and Hippolyta. Auberon and Titania also celebrate their lovers.
